Don't you hate it when you hear something, but you heard it wrong so you misinterpret it? That happened to me today. My crush's friend was like, standing behind me during martial arts class (yes, I went to do martial arts with push ups and all that tiring stuff with a sore throat.) and he said (or so I thought), "Nick(not my crush's real name, of course) likes you."

And my heart stops for a split second or something and I turn around and say, "Huh?" and he says/repeats, "Nick likes to throw people down." (We were doing judo techniques at the moment.) And I say, "Oh. yeah...he seems like the type to do that..."

Gosh. I can't believe how dumb I am. xD And he wasn't even saying that to me, he was saying that to his brother, who was standing behind him. I'm such a dork. xD

I felt so like...happy when I heard "Nick likes you," but then everything came tumbling down and my heart just...dropped when I heard what he REALLY said...

But you know, it's strange. How he said "Nick likes..." but the actual sentence is much longer than what I thought. Compare, "Nick likes you" to "Nick likes to throw people down"

The second sentence is longer than the first, ne? Or maybe I just heard the "Nick likes" part and my brain did the rest of the decoding. XD I dunno. Or maybe his friend just...has a really quiet voice. Yeah, that's probably it. He doesn't talk a lot in class, anyways. Yeeeah. So, he said something, and his voice diiied down. xDD

oh yeah. I have a sore throat. -.- I've gargling salt water, but it does really help, a lot. And I've been spitting off ph...phegm? I think that's how you spell it. Sorry for the disgusting-ness. xD
